The McLean Group
McLean or MacLean: Alan McLean, an Anglo-Scot, founded the McLean firm in Marseille in 1973. At the outset the firm was very small working mainly for several P&I Clubs, in particular for the United Kingdom P&I Club.

In the years to follow, McLEANS opened offices or subsidiaries in most of the major ports of metropolitan France, Paris, the Maghreb and Spain. The Group’s activities were extended to surveying, insurance and TMT Route Rail for GIT claims management. Today the Group employs some 45 people. The Group’s turnover is in excess of ten million euros (2007) and the main company of McLEANS S.A. is credited by the Bank of France with the rating 3+, which corresponds to “Very strong”.
