The activities of McLeans Brittany, as with the port of Nantes-Saint Nazaire, are varied, dynamic and fast developing…
Fourth largest port in France, n°1 port on the French Atlantic coast, the port of Nantes-Saint Nazaire serves this metropolis of 800,000 inhabitants and the West of France, of which Nantes is the essential logistical cross-roads.
A multi-specialist port, Nantes-Saint Nazaire responds to the needs of varied sections of activity: energy, agriculture, foodstuffs and industry. Montoir de Bretagne is the largest gas terminal in Europe and Nantes the largest platform for timber. The shipyard of Saint Nazaire is the birthplace of many legendary passenger vessels.
McLeans Brittany acts as the Correspondent for a large number of P&I Clubs of the International Group and for other P&I Insurers within the zones of the great port of Nantes-Saint Nazaire, whose main trades are:

- Donges: Oil terminal
- Montoir de Bretagne: Ro-Ro, containers, gas, commodities and coal.
- Saint Nazaire: Reefer, commodities, fruits, heavy lifts, ship repair and building.
In addition, McLeans Brittany also covers the ports of
- Saint Malo
- Les Sables d’Olonne
And many small Brittany harbours, where the main activity is often that of passenger transport.
